Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. According to a 2011 study of wish impact, most health professionals surveyed say a wish come true can affect their health outcomes. Based in Phoenix, the Make-A-Wish is a leading children’s charity, serving children in every community in the United States. With the help of generous donors and more than 25,000 volunteers nationwide, Make-A-Wish grants a wish every 38 minutes. It has granted more than 200,000 wishes since its inception in 1980. Hatch and Make-A-Wish joined forces in 2008 to raise awareness and support Make-A-Wish chapters across the country in their wish granting efforts.
